Which step of the routine should I use Heirloom?
Heirloom is used as a treatment right after the cleansing and right before Barrier Revive Elixir.
Is 20% too high for Vitamin C? Will it hurt my skin barrier?
It depends on the type of Vitamin C a product uses! Heirloom uses THDA (tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate) which is nonirritating, most stable, and highly effective form of Vitamin C.
Heirloom is a potent product so it is recommended to be used at night especially for best results.
Additionally, Heirloom contains Ceramides and Vitamin E to ensure your skin barrier is protected.
Why do I need to shake before use?
This is a biphase product (even if you don't always see the 2 phases) hence shaking is necessary to mix both phases. It is not necessary to shake it too hard.
